IT Manager

Keenan Recruitment has been retained by a leading charity to recruit for a full-time IT Manager.

Our client support people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to achieve a meaningful and independent place in their community.   

Location: Belfast

Salary: £44,995 - £48,937

Hours: Full-time 35 hours per week, permanent

Job Purpose

As IT Manager you will lead our clients internal ICT team, oversee vendor performance (including their current Managed Service Provider), and manage the delivery of robust, secure, and forward-looking IT services across the organisation. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on, with a deep understanding of infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services (particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure), and organisational fit within the third sector.

Criteria

• A relevant third-level qualification in IT or a related field with technical components.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing an internal ICT team.
• At least 3 years’ recent experience in a technical ICT environment, including:
  • o Cloud infrastructure (Microsoft 365/Azure)
  • o Cybersecurity and compliance
  • o Performance monitoring and reporting
  • o IT project delivery
• Proven experience overseeing IT vendor contracts and Managed Service Provider relationships.
• Valid driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle (reasonable adjustments will be considered where applicable).
